Ileana Marie

Time to meet Ileana Marie, a young African-American, Philadelphia artist; who believes in innovation and avant-garde art ideals.  Ms Ileana Marie is a portraitist who works with wood and wood products as well as traditional art media. Ileana Marie believes “that Art that does not take a risk is art that will not evolve or inspire the next artist!” 
  
Currently Ms. Ileana Marie is working on her first art exhibition for the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation, in hopes of raising funds for the Foundation.  This exhibition is two parts; first is the examination of friends and family and portraitures on wood, while the second part is the tribute to Linda Creed and “WE ARE…” 
  
With the hopes that her first Art Exhibition goes well she is planning the opening of her small personal art business as well as setting up her Non Profit organization for young artist in the local Mid-Atlantic region. Ms Ileana Marie has been recently published in her first art book titled, “Art Buzz 2009 Collection,” Alan Rowe. 
  
Keep lines of communication available, for Ileana Marie is creating a show that will have the women of the world talking and running to make a change. This change is not only for the sake of breast cancer but for the exploring of oneself.  She hopes his show to be motivating and a breath of fresh air.
